Elizabeth Sullivan, director of opinion for cleveland.com, previously served as editor of the editorial pages of The Plain Dealer, where she’d worked since 1979 in a variety of local and overseas reporting capacities and on the paper’s editorial board as an associate editor and foreign affairs columnist. In 2013, Sullivan became director of opinion for cleveland.com. She continues to direct the editorial board for cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer.
Sullivan, who received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University, also is a first violinist with the Cleveland Women’s Orchestra and serves on the board of trustees for the Yale Alumni Association of Cleveland.
