Megan Overholser Bucur has extensive work experience in the digital marketing and advertising industry. Megan started their career as a Developer/Server at Romano's Macaroni Grill from 2005 to 2009. Megan then worked as a Public Relations Intern at the National MS Society in 2009, where they wrote and proofed various feature articles for the organization's website. After that, they served as a Marketing Intern at Smarthome in 2009-2010, where they were responsible for various marketing projects, including copywriting, proofing, and managing social media platforms.
From 2010 to 2014, Megan worked at Specific Media, first as an Account Manager on the East Coast, managing a high volume of campaigns and providing support to the sales team. Megan then became a Senior Account Manager, where they monitored the day-to-day activities of Account Managers and provided support to the entire team. Megan also assisted with campaign proposals, set-ups, optimizations, and reporting.
In 2014, Megan joined Viant Technology as a Manager of Campaign Strategy. Megan'sresponsibilities included hiring, managing, and training campaign managers, as well as guiding and supporting the team in day-to-day activities. Megan also provided guidance to the sales team during campaign proposals and execution, drafted and executed presentations and reports, and ensured best practices were followed.
Currently, Megan is working at Adtaxi as the Director of Client Services, a role they started in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Client Services Manager, Strategy from 2019 to 2023, and Account Strategist from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Megan has demonstrated skills in team management, client support, campaign optimization, and reporting throughout their career.
Megan Overholser Bucur began their education at Esperanza from 2001 to 2005. Megan then pursued an Associates degree in Visual Arts at Santiago Canyon College and completed it from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they attended Chapman University from 2007 to 2010 and obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising & Public Relations. In addition, Megan obtained a certification in Google Analytics from Google in June 2017.
