Kate Kennedy has extensive work experience in consumer insights and marketing research. Kate is currently working as the Senior Director of Consumer Insights at Adtalem Global Education, where they have established and developed a new Consumer Insights function for marketing. Prior to this, they were the Director of Consumer Insights at Weber Inc. from 2020 to 2022, where they managed the consumer insights team and optimized reporting for global market share data. From 2017 to 2020, Kate worked as the Consumer Insights Leader at Barilla Group, supporting businesses in the Americas and Europe with best-in-class consumer insights. Before that, they owned and operated their own consumer insights consulting company, Kennedy Marketing Services, Inc., from 2002 to 2017, working with a diverse range of clients across various industries. Kate started their career at Conagra Brands, where they served as a Brand Manager and later as a Consumer Insights Manager.
Kate Kennedy has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from DePaul University. Kate also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Design Thinking Training from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and in Executive Program on Marketing Excellence from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
