Sandra Nguyen Thi Borkowska has worked as an Associate Scientist at Adrestia Therapeutics since April 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research Technician at the same company from February 2021 to April 2022. In 2020, they completed a Master's Research Project at Imperial College London from March to September. From 2017 to 2020, Sandra worked as a Front of House staff at Pho Restaurant. Sandra also conducted an Undergraduate Research Project at the University of Westminster from October 2018 to March 2019. In 2016, they worked as a Sales Associate at TK MAXX for a few months.

Sandra Nguyen Thi Borkowska began their education in 2015 at Mount Pleasant High School in Michigan, USA. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at Anglia Ruskin University from 2016 to 2017. Sandra then transferred to the University of Westminster, where they continued their studies in Biomedical Sciences and completed their Bachelor's degree in 2019. In 2019, Sandra enrolled in Imperial College London and pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Molecular Genetics, which they completed in 2020.
