Ramaswamy Lakshmanan has a diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Ramaswamy started their career at Pentax Engineering Ltd. in 1994 as the General Manager-Finance. Ramaswamy then became the CFO at Fiat auto India from 1999 to 2007. In 2008, they served as the Acting CFO at Tata Cummins Ltd and later became the Entity Finance Controller at Cummins, Inc. in the same year. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as the CFO at Tecumseh Products India Pvt. Ltd. and then joined BVG India Limited as the CFO from 2011 to 2013. Ramaswamy continued their career as the Finance Head at ROBO Silicon Ltd from 2014 to 2017 and is currently the Head Finance at Ador Powertron Limited, starting from December 2017.
