Jonathan Eckel is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Adonis since September 2022, Jonathan previously held roles as a Senior Data Science Engineer and Data Engineer at Dots from November 2018 to February 2021. Prior to that, Jonathan worked as a Data Scientist at Splash from May 2017 to November 2018 and at LearnVest from July 2015 to May 2017, during which Jonathan led experimentation efforts for the Growth team and established A/B testing workflows. Jonathan began their career as a Fellow at Insight Data Science, where Jonathan developed beersomme.com, a bar recommendation app. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
