Heather Devine is a Senior Director of Engineering at Adobe, leading the Document Cloud Mobile team, which includes the Adobe Acrobat iOS application and Adobe Scan mobile application, as well as overseeing core PDF rendering and Document Cloud Data Science. With extensive experience at Adobe since July 2001 in various engineering roles, Heather has developed significant features for Adobe Acrobat and Reader, managing teams focused on mobile applications and incorporating text recognition technology. Additional contributions include serving as an Executive Sponsor for Indigenous and First Nations initiatives at Adobe. Heather holds a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as an M.S. in Human Factors and Ergonomics and an MLIS from San Jose State University.
