Rowena Kuang is a skilled veterinarian currently practicing at Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos and Los Gatos since June 2020. Rowena completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, following a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley in 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a Student Ambassador at UC Davis, conducting research as an NIH Funded Veterinary Scholar, and participating in the Global Feline Medicine Fellowship, where Rowena conducted significant research on feline genetics. Rowena has acquired hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant at VCA Animal Hospitals and as a clinical intern at Berkeley Animal Care Services, while also engaging in community outreach and mentoring roles throughout the academic career.
