Chauncy Whitworth received the Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawai’i, and the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree from Montana State University. His thesis work included research of non-contact detection of human life signs via
radio-frequency signals using Doppler radar.
During his time at the University of Hawai’i, Mr. Whitworth also taught laboratory classes in digital logic and transistor theory. Mr. Whitworth’s prior engineering experience includes working as an electrical engineer with each of the Anvil Corporation engineering services firm in Bellingham, Washington; the Space Science Engineering Laboratory of the Montana State University Department of Physics in Bozeman, Montana, developing hardware for the Material International Space Station Experiment 6; and the Solar Physics group (also with the MSU Physics Department), developing hardware for the Multi-Order-Solar-EUV-Spectrograph project.
Prior to his work and study at the University of Hawai’i, Mr. Whitworth also worked for several years as an attorney at the Lucas and Tonn, P.C. law offices in Miles City, Montana, where he performed trial work representing numerous clients, primarily in the areas of family law and criminal defense. Mr. Whitworth also spent several years working as a computer technician, network technician, and a server systems administrator.
As Vice President of Engineering with Adnoviv, Inc., Mr. Whitworth is responsible for hardware design, assembly, and testing, and his work includes design of Adnoviv’s flagship product, the TruePODS occupancy detection system.
