Mr. Lockerbie is a seasoned and proven administrator of K-12 independent schools with 40 years of experience as a teacher, coach, consultant and leader of day and boarding schools in New York, Texas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Virginia. He is highly regarded as a polished community builder with tremendous energy and vision for schools.

He is also uniquely qualified to support Farragut through this period of transition. Kevin served two schools previously in an interim capacity, ensuring stability and progress for current families and students. He holds a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has strong ties to our local community. His daughter, Caitlin, is the morning anchor for Tampa Bay 10.

Mr. Lockerbie grew up attending a boarding school, and he has a lifelong passion for education, the arts, sports, international travel and teambuilding. He will lead all aspects, operations, and day-to-day administration of their school, including championing the first-year implementation of Vision 2025.
