Alex Haley is currently a software engineer at Administrate. Prior to this, they worked as a web developer at Twig Education from August 2019 to February 2022. Before that, they were a signaller at 32 Signal Regiment from September 2018 to March 2020. Haley began their career as a Python developer at s1 from August 2017 to August 2019. Alex then worked as a computer science demonstrator at the University of Glasgow from September 2016 to March 2017. Haley's first job was as a software development intern at Traveltek Ltd. from June 2016 to August 2016. Alex is also a pipe major and has Glasgow and Strathclyde University Officer Training Corps from September 2017 to September 2018.

Alex Haley studied computer science at the University of Glasgow and later attended George Heriot's School.
