Elisa Selamaj has had a varied work experience. Elisa began their career in 2017 as an Associate at Panera Bread. Elisa then moved to Starbucks in 2019, where they worked as a Barista. In 2020, Elisa founded and worked as an Artist for Art by Elisa, and also worked as a Content, Production & Social Media Lead for Peace Innovation. Elisa also worked as a Student Research Assistant for Peace Innovation Lab Stanford. In 2021, Elisa worked as a Medical Content Co-Op for AdMed, Inc., and as a Resident Assistant for Drexel University. Elisa currently works as an Assistant Medical Writer I for AdMed, Inc., and as a Medical Scribe for DeepScribe, where their duties include documenting patient histories, entering vitals into patient charts, and ensuring accuracy of patient medical charts.

Elisa Selamaj is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Drexel University, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022. In February 2022, they obtained Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross.
