Randy Leaver has an extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Randy currently holds the position of Controller at Adler Planetarium, where they have been working since February 2020. Prior to that, they served as the VP, Finance/Controller at Target Data from August 2017 to February 2020.

Before joining Target Data, Randy worked as the Controller at Chicago Public Media from May 2012 to August 2017. Randy also held the role of Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at RR Donnelley from April 2007 to May 2012.

In their earlier career, Randy served as the Plant Controller at Quebecor World from November 2005 to March 2007. Randy was responsible for the Elk Grove Village Print Plant until its closure in January 2007. Prior to that, they worked as the Controller at Argus Press from August 2004 to November 2005.

Randy also gained experience as the Controller at Howard Brown Health Center from August 2002 to July 2004. Randy started their career as a Financial Analyst at Invensys from December 2000 to December 2001.

Before that, Randy worked as the Financial Analysis Manager at Edelman from January 2000 to December 2000 and as the Accounting Manager at BorgWarner from October 1998 to January 2000.

Randy Leaver completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Accounting from Illinois State University between 1985 and 1988. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1994 to 1996.
