Levent Bas has a diverse work experience in scientific research. Levent is currently working as a Scientist at adivo GmbH since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry from November 2019 to April 2023. In this role, they were responsible for establishing methodologic pipelines for screening synthetic single domain antibodies and optimizing protein interactions on DNA-origami nano structures. Before that, they served as a Doctoral Researcher at Max Perutz Labs Vienna from April 2014 to January 2019. Levent also has experience as a Research Assistant at Uppsala University from November 2013 to April 2014 and at Boğaziçi University from June 2013 to October 2013.

Levent Bas completed their education in the field of Molecular Biology. Levent obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from Boğaziçi University from 2004 to 2010. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Boğaziçi University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Levent Bas further advanced their academic career by completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna, which they achieved from 2014 to 2019.
