Becca Halter is the Stewardship & GIS Manager at Adirondack Land Trust, responsible for managing conservation easements and overseeing the GIS program for land protection and stewardship projects since January 2019. Prior experience includes positions as Stewardship & GIS Specialist and Stewardship Specialist at the City of Pittsburgh, and as an SCA Sustainability Fellow at The Nature Conservancy. Becca gained internship experience at Hyuck Preserve & Biological Research Station, where independent research on small mammal communities was conducted. Previous roles include Volunteer Crew Leader for the Adirondack Mountain Club, Crew Member at Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, and Summer Intern at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Becca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Skidmore College and is currently pursuing a Master's Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
