Nik Malev has been working in the tech industry since 2016. Nik'sfirst role was as Junior Web Developer at Bauer Media Group, where they wrote a lot of unit tests. In 2019, they joined Galaxy9 as a Software Developer, working with the NSW Education and NSW Health digital teams to build dynamic web applications using Angular and AWS. In 2020, they founded SurryHQ, providing freelance consulting and tutoring services, as well as publishing educational videos and written articles. Nik also managed a remote, three-man team and taught computer science at a 1-3rd yr level. Most recently, Nik started working at Adiona as Senior Frontend Developer, leading the design and development of their flagship product user interface, making a sophisticated API accessible to non-technical users. Nik is primarily working with Nuxt (Vue. js) and Firebase.

Nik Malev attended General Assembly in 2016 for a Web Development Immersive - Full Time Bootcamp. Nik also obtained an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021.
