Carlos Costa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of data and analytics. Currently serving as the Director of Data & Analytics Hub and previously as the Director of Data Engineering Foundations at adidas, Carlos has demonstrated leadership in managing complex data initiatives. Carlos has also held roles as a Lead Data Engineer and Senior Big Data Engineer, and has served as an Invited Professor at the University of Minho, teaching Big Data, Data Science, and Systems Integration. In addition, Carlos has worked as a consultant in Big Data and as an R&D Engineer in Big Data Analytics at relevant institutions. Carlos completed a PhD in Information Systems and Technologies focusing on Big Data and Data Science, and holds an Integrated Master’s Degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems from the Universidade do Minho.
