Frank Bai is a skilled optical engineer with a robust background in materials science and physics. Currently a Junior Optical Engineer at AdHawk Microsystems since June 2022, Frank previously served as a Senior Engineer at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), where responsibilities included optical simulation and Metalens design. Frank's early experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focusing on functional semiconductor nanomaterials, and an internship at Cybersys Computer Ltd. with a focus on software testing and customer service. Frank holds a PhD and MPhil in Materials Science and Physics, respectively, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, along with a Bachelor's degree in Physics obtained in 2015.
