Felipe Masculo is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Adevinta since February 2022, where responsibilities include developing machine learning algorithms for product recommendations and enhancing search functionality. Prior to this role, Felipe worked at Philips from November 2015 to February 2022, focusing on data science for healthcare and consumer applications, including algorithm development for wearable and connected products. Earlier experience includes a PhD research position at CEA, where context inference algorithms were developed for embedded applications, and a graduation project at Philips investigating activity recognition using a wrist-worn accelerometer. Felipe's career began with an internship at Electricfil Automotive, engaging in hardware and software design for automotive sensor validation. Felipe holds a Master's degree and an Engineer's degree in Digital Signal and Image Processing and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from INSA Lyon, as well as an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal de Campina Grande.
