Shawn Humphries is the Vice President of Information Technology at ADESA. Shawn has over fifteen years of experience in the software industry and has held leadership positions at DriveCentric, Baker Hill, and ADESA.
Shawn Humphries began their career as a software developer and quickly rose through the ranks to become a development manager and then director of engineering at Baker Hill. In 2015, they were promoted to Vice President of Product Development. In this role, Shawn led an aggressive multi-year project to re-platform a suite of financial platforms into one next generation application. The team comprised of over sixty on-shore/off-shore developers, solution architects, and product development managers.
In 2016, Shawn left Baker Hill to join DriveCentric as Vice President of Software Development. In this role, Shawn led all aspects of development in a fast-paced startup that delivered a CRM-SaaS platform to car dealerships across the country. Shawn led a team of mobile, front-end, back-end, database developers and introduced lean processes to improve product delivery cadence, product support, product management, quality, and discipline.
In January 2017, Shawn joined ADESA as Vice President of Information Technology. In this role, Shawn is responsible for leading all aspects of ADESA’s technology strategy and execution. This includes developing and executing the company’s technology roadmap, managing the budget for all technology investments, and leading a team of IT
Shawn Humphries attended Indiana University Bloomington for their undergraduate degree. Shawn then went on to earn their MBA from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
