Raoul Beauduin is an experienced IT manager and developer with a strong background in geophysics and seismology. Currently working at Adera since February 2002, Raoul is involved in workstation and cluster setup and maintenance using Linux, along with development in parallelization and optimization techniques. Raoul's research interests include seismic data compression, interpolation, time-space decomposition for wave propagation, and datuming. Previous roles include a 12-month tenure as an HPC developer at Total, research in tomography at MINES ParisTech, software development at ST Groupe, and a postdoctoral position at The University of Tokyo focusing on seismic wave propagation modeling. Raoul holds a PhD in Geophysics from the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris and has a comprehensive educational background in geophysics, geochemistry, and geology.
