Andrea Chunga-Celis has a robust background in development and education, with extensive experience in various roles since 2009. As Director of Development at Adelante Mujeres since October 2014, Andrea has also served as a Grants Manager and facilitated the Chicas Program. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at El Instituto of Latino/a, Latin American, and Caribbean Studies, where responsibilities encompassed supporting faculty research and organizing events. Andrea has also provided technology education as a Computer Instructor at Trinfo.Cafe and contributed to human rights initiatives through a Monitoring and Reporting and Communications Internship at Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict. Andrea's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Hispanic Studies from Trinity College-Hartford and a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Connecticut.
