Rebecca Sanford has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Rebecca started their career in 1990 as the Group Human Resources Manager at Shaw Industries, where they managed HR activities for approximately 900 employees and successfully integrated multiple acquired companies. Rebecca then moved on to Talbot Financial Corporation in 2001, where they served as the Vice President of Human Resources and oversaw a department supporting 700 employees nationwide. During their time at Talbot, they handled employee benefit plans, including a $30 million 401(k) plan and a self-funded health insurance plan with 1200 members. In 2005, Rebecca joined Hub International as the Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for HR operations in the western US and supporting 2000 employees across 80 offices. At Hub, they successfully consolidated employee benefits under a new self-funded plan. In 2009, they became the Director of Human Resources at the City of Rio Rancho, overseeing HR operations and benefits for 700 employees, including police and fire departments. Here, they managed a multi-million dollar RFP for the city's benefit plans and implemented cost-saving measures. Currently, Rebecca serves as the President & CEO of Adelante Development Center, Inc., a position they took on in April 2021. Rebecca also previously held the role of Chief Administrative Officer at Adelante.
Rebecca Sanford holds a Bachelor's degree in General Management/Economics from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Rebecca also has a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the same institution. In addition, they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of New Mexico.
