Shina Neo has extensive work experience in various roles related to journalism and marketing. Shina most recently worked at Adeaca as the Editorial Director and Media Relations Specialist. Prior to that, they were the Editorial Manager at White Space Marketing Group, LLC. Shina also served as the Content Marketing Manager at Content Raven and Web Editor at Training Industry, Inc. Shina started their career as a Business Reporter at The Patriot Ledger and an Editorial Intern at Boston Magazine. Shina has also worked as a Copy Editor at Red Ventures, a Freelance News Reporter at The Charlotte Observer, a Freelance Writer at University City Partners, and a News Reporter at East Hampton Press. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong writing, editing, interviewing, and reporting skills.

Shina Neo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2009 to 2010. Later on, they attended Boston University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Masters of Science degree in Journalism. Additionally, in August 2016, Shina Neo obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot.
