Thierry Valot is a seasoned executive with a strong background in innovation and digital strategy, currently serving as a board member of UpCell Alliance since October 2022, focusing on developing a European ecosystem in the battery sector. At Fives, where employment began in April 1997, Thierry Valot holds the position of Group Innovation and Digital Director and is a member of the Executive Board, overseeing the company's innovation and intellectual property strategies while managing strategic development projects. Additional leadership roles at Fives include Executive Vice-President of the Glass Division and Group Head of Innovation. Outside Fives, Thierry Valot has been a board member for La Ruche Industrielle and AddUp since late 2019, and holds co-presidency in the Industrial Showcases initiative with the Alliance Industrie du Futur. Notably, Thierry Valot contributed to the Industrial 5G working group under the French Ministry of Economy from October 2021 to March 2022. Earlier career experience includes statutory auditing at Mazars from 1994 to 1997. Education includes studies at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées since 1993.
