Belen Bello Rodriguez has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Belen began their career as a research assistant at Cranfield University in 2000 and then moved to the Max Planck Institute for Iron Research as a postdoctoral researcher in 2004. Belen then had a visitor role at TU Delft in 2006 and a researcher role at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the same year. In 2011, they were a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and then a Laboratory Manager at Baird & Co. in 2012. Since 2014, they have been employed at Vale as a Research Chemist and is currently the Head of Electrochemistry and a senior electrochemist at Addionics.
Belen Bello Rodriguez's education history includes a PhD in Biotechnology from Cranfield University (2000-2004), an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from Universidad de Oviedo (1998-1999), a licenciatura in analytical chemistry from Universidad de Oviedo (1993-1998), and a Licenciatura in Quimica Analitica from Universidad de Oviedo. Additionally, Belen Bello Rodriguez is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, obtained in March 2021.
