Izumi Okamura has a diverse background in education and data project management. Currently, Izumi works at Addepar in Enterprise Data Projects since July 2019, contributing to solutions that enhance investment decision-making for asset owners and advisors. Prior experience includes roles as a Client Support Analyst and Math Teacher at Innovations Early College High School, where Izumi created e-learning materials and utilized data analysis to improve student performance. At Alpine School District, Izumi developed a hands-on math curriculum, resulting in improved student proficiency in high-stakes testing. Izumi began a career in education as a Math Student Teacher at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education, focusing on the application of mathematics to social justice issues. Izumi holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language Teacher Education, both from the University of Utah.
