Alex Watkins is a Senior Software Engineer at Addepar since June 2022, previously serving as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon from April 2021 to June 2022, where data migration and infrastructure conversion were achieved with high accuracy. Prior experience at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from June 2018 to April 2021 includes developing key systems for webserver availability, DNS query handling, and logging mechanisms, significantly improving operational efficiencies. An internship at AWS in 2017 involved innovative logging approaches that dramatically saved on storage costs. Alex also co-founded Nexus Craft, where a maze-like gaming app and an organization system for closets were developed. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned in May 2018.
