Marcus Ackel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marcus currently holds the position of Teamleitung Media at add2 GmbH since February 2021. Prior to this, Marcus was the Inhaber at digitalhats from November 2014 to February 2021. Marcus also served as the Head of Digital (Interim) at Brandlocal GmbH from December 2018 to July 2019. Additionally, Marcus was a Gesellschafter at adisfaction AG from January 2007 to April 2019 and a Vorstand, Co-Founder, and Gesellschafter from January 2007 to January 2013. Marcus was the Geschäftsführer at Salz & Sole from February 2013 to May 2015. Before that, Marcus held the role of Managing Director - Deutschland at addfuture.com from January 2014 to October 2014. Marcus started their career as a Senior Consultant at edynamix from November 2005 to December 2006 and at OnVista Media GmbH from September 2000 to November 2005.

From 1993 to 2000, Marcus Ackel attended Ruhr University Bochum, where they obtained a Diplom Geograph degree in the field of study of Geographie.
