Akintayo Adewole has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to visual arts, technology, and media. Akintayo started their career as a Systems Design Engineer at Modern Mass Media and Smith Meeker Engineering, where they designed audio/visual systems for different applications. Akintayo then worked as a Tech Sales Design Engineer at Crestron Electronics, providing design support for automation and control systems in the AV industry. Akintayo continued their career as an Audio Visual Systems Design Engineer at HB Communications, focusing on consultation and design of AV systems for corporate and residential applications. After that, they served as a Sr. Systems Design Engineer at Activu, where they designed command and control visual display systems. Akintayo then joined Evangel Church as a Director, Tech Director, Producer, and Camera Operator, overseeing the media ministry and producing live streams for church services. Later, they worked as a Sr. Design Engineer at Verrex, where they provided design support for Fortune 500 communications solutions. Akintayo also worked as the Director of Music, Photography, and Content Management at ADCOLOR Conference and Awards, contributing creatively and managerially to the organization's mission of promoting diversity. Currently, they hold the role of Teaching Assistant for Real-Time 3D and Virtual Production at CG Spectrum. Most recently, they have been working as an Unreal Engine Artist and Cinematographer at DRKR PXLS, where they focus on content creation, leveraging innovative technology like Unreal Engine for virtual production. In addition to their technical skills, Adewole is also involved with photography, film directing, and music creation.

Akintayo Adewole has a diverse education history. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Northwestern University. Akintayo further pursued their education by earning a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2002.

In 2023, Akintayo Adewole enrolled in CG Spectrum to study Real Time 3D and Virtual Production, with a focus on Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation.

To complement their formal education, Akintayo Adewole obtained several certifications. These include "Unreal Fellowship: Animation" from Unreal Engine, "Unreal: Blueprint" and "Virtual Reality Foundations" from LinkedIn, as well as the "CCNA" certification from Cisco. Additionally, they hold certifications such as "Certified Technical Specialist (CTS)" from AVIXA, and "Dante Certification Level 2" and "Dante Level 1 Certification" from Audinate.
