Paul Wolstenholme-Hogg

Paul Wolstenholme-Hogg has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Paul started their career as a Post Doc research fellow at the University of Leeds in 1998, followed by a role as a Post Doc at Avecia in 1999. In 2000, they joined Genzyme, where they held various positions including Technical Project Leader and NMR Spectroscopist, specializing in structural characterization and molecular recognition events. From 2011 to 2014, they served as an Editorial Board Member at the Royal Society of Chemistry. Currently, they are working at ADC Therapeutics since 2015, initially as the Head of Chemistry and now as the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry.

Paul Wolstenholme-Hogg has a strong educational background in chemistry and business. Paul obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a First Class distinction in Chemistry from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Paul then pursued further studies and completed their PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge between 1994 and 1997.

After completing their PhD, Paul Wolstenholme-Hogg worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Leeds from 1998 to 1999. During this time, they focused on the study of palladacycle catalysts, Heck and Suzuki couplings, and catalyst design. Paul then transitioned to the industry and worked as an Industrial Postdoc Research Fellow at Avecia from 1999 to 2000, where they specialized in asymmetric catalysis.

In 2005, Paul Wolstenholme-Hogg decided to further expand their knowledge and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Open University Business School. Paul completed their MBA program in Business from 2005 to 2008.
