Lloyd Harnett has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lloyd started their career as a Food and Beverage Manager at Jurys Doyle Hotel Group in 2000 and eventually became a Revenue Manager. Lloyd worked there until 2005.
In 2005, they joined Argos Carhire and Car Trawler as a Business and Pricing Analyst, where they were responsible for analyzing and monitoring product pricing and implementing pricing strategies.
Following that, Lloyd worked as an Operations Manager at Campus Service Station, where they oversaw the management of the station and ensured targets were achieved. Lloyd also project-managed the change from Wimpy to Supermac's Fresh Express.
From 2006 to 2008, Lloyd served as the Acting General Manager at Absolute Hotel & Spa. Lloyd project managed the pre-opening activities of the hotel and subsequently ran the day-to-day operations. Lloyd also handled strategic planning for the hotel's marketing and sales.
Lloyd then worked as a Revenue and IT Project Manager at Royal Marine Hotel from 2009 to 2010. Here, they developed an online strategy and brand awareness to drive demand.
Lloyd continued their career as a Revenue and IT Manager at Castletroy Park Hotel from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they oversaw the revenue function in all departments, implemented an online strategy to increase business, and advised on IT matters.
Lloyd's next position was at Adare Manor, where they started as the Director of Revenue and IT in 2013. Lloyd delivered the IT build and refit project for the resort's redevelopment and currently leads the delivery of IT and Revenue strategy for all segments of the business.
Since 2014, Lloyd has also been serving as an E-Moderator for the MSc in Project and Programme Management at the University of Limerick.

Lloyd Harnett pursued multiple educational achievements throughout their life. In 1994, they completed a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management at the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus. Following this, in 1997, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Studies degree with a specialization in Tourism and Hospitality from the same institution. In 1998, Lloyd pursued further studies at the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing, which they completed in 2000. After a substantial gap, they resumed their education and attended Griffith College Limerick from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Computer Science. Finally, they pursued a Masters Degree in Project and Programme Management from the University of Limerick, which they completed between 2011 and 2013.
