Joseph Schmalz is a Computational Biologist II at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since November 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Idaho from August 2017 to August 2021, where Joseph developed a time-series model of dopaminergic modulation and a novel stimulation strategy applicable to epilepsy and Parkinson's disease, along with modeling changes in Basal Ganglia dynamics. Joseph has published nine journal articles and made conference presentations.
