Brittany Dean is a skilled research professional with extensive experience in the field of biology, currently serving as a Research Associate II at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since October 2019. With previous roles as Clinical Lab Technologist I and II, as well as Biological Sample Management Specialist II, Brittany has developed a strong background in clinical lab operations and management. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington Department of Biology, where Brittany contributed to studies on Drosophila melanogaster genetics and the evolution of flowering plants, and also supported animal care and maintenance focused on zebrafish. In addition to academic research, Brittany held the position of Resident Adviser at the University of Washington Housing & Food Services, advocating for student needs. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington.
