Deepa Joseph is a scientist at Adaptimmune in the UK since October 2015, specializing in the development of T cell-based therapies for cancer treatment. Prior to this role, Deepa worked as a research assistant at the Oxford Parkinson's Disease Centre, where research focused on early pathological pathways in Parkinson's and genetic screening for biomarkers. Additional experience includes research positions at the Rubber Research Institute of India, developing transgenic rubber plants, and at the Indian Institute of Horticulture and Research, investigating functional genomics in Musa species. Deepa holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Bio-Technology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Bio-Technology, Chemistry, and Zoology from Bangalore University.
