Amy Nguyen has three years of work experience in software engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at AdaptedMind. In 2020, they were a Software Engineering & Product Design Intern at Ford Motor Company where they conducted needfinding research and usability studies, wireframed, prototyped and implemented an interface to improve user experience operating semi-autonomous vehicles. Her performance review showed "Exceed expectations" for most criteria. In 2019, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi where they built an internal tool with a developer-friendly UI to help autonomous vehicles navigate, ultimately validating this work on autonomous vehicles. Amy also finished two additional projects on top of their assigned intern project.

Amy Nguyen attended Stanford University from 2017 to 2021, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
