Derek Albert is an accomplished Electrical Control Engineer at Adaptec Solutions since December 2021, specializing in the design and implementation of electrical power distribution and automation controls. Prior to this role, Derek served as an Engineering Specialist at L3Harris Technologies from April 2016 to December 2021, leading field tests and validations for new radio communication systems. Derek's engineering career began as an Engineering Technician at Harris Corporation from August 2007 to April 2016, transitioning from a contractor to a direct hire. Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, earned in May 2007.
