Leanne McCarthy is an experienced professional in communication, event management, and fundraising. Currently serving as the Grants and Events Coordinator at AdaptAbilities since September 2021, Leanne also founded and owns Stillness in Expansion. With a background that includes ownership of 13 Pencils Communications and Event Management and a role as Facility Fundraising Manager for Edmonton Scottish Society, Leanne has demonstrated expertise in organizing events and managing communications. Previous experience includes positions at Edmonton & District Soccer Association, Alberta Soccer Association, and Bilkent University in Turkey as an English Language Teacher. Leanne holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Alberta, and a Certificate in Massage Therapy from MacEwan University.
