Prateek Rungta is an experienced professional in the field of procurement and project management, currently serving as the Head Techno Commercial at Adani Enterprises Limited since 2022, overseeing work awards for construction of Highways and Water Projects. Prior to this role, Prateek Rungta was the Head of Procurement & Sub Contracts at Welspun Enterprises Ltd from 2010 to 2021, also focusing on Highways and Water Projects. Earlier in the career, Prateek Rungta served as General Manager Procurement at Ispat Industries Ltd from 1992 to 2009, managing the procurement process for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical works for an Integrated Steel Plant in India, along with global sourcing activities for projects in Nigeria and Bulgaria. Prateek Rungta holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and completed an executive education program at MIT Sloan in 2019.
