Darryl Wood, P.E., LEED AP has had a successful career in the construction industry. Darryl started their career at FPL in 1987 as a Construction Services Engineer and worked there until 1991. Darryl then moved on to Project Time & Cost, LLC where they worked as an Estimator from 1991 to 1995. Darryl then joined Skanska USA Building Inc. in 1995 as an Electrical Preconstruction Director, a position they held for over 20 years until 2016. Currently, they are working at Adams Electric Company as the Vice President - Preconstruction Services.
Darryl Wood, P.E., LEED AP received their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied Electrical Engineering from 1985 to 1987. Darryl furthered their professional development by obtaining certifications such as LEED Accredited Professional from the U.S. Green Building Council in October 2007, and later becoming a licensed Professional Engineer by the Georgia Secretary of State in February 1995. Most recently, in May 2023, they obtained the NC Real Estate Broker certification from the NC Real Estate Commission.
