Lukasz Kowalczyk is a Senior Scientist at AdAlta Ltd, where a bioprocessing team and drug discovery program are led since March 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Project Leader in Membrane Protein Biology at CSIRO from October 2015 to March 2021, focusing on membrane protein biology and the structural and functional analysis of transporters, ion channels, and GPCRs, along with producing therapeutic proteins under cGMP conditions. Previous roles include Research Fellow at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Research Officer at Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, and Postdoc at IRB Barcelona, contributing to various aspects of membrane protein research, including x-ray crystallography and expression of eukaryotic ion channels. Education consists of a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Gdansk.
