Takara Wheeler has worked for three companies over the past decade. In 2016, they began working for Adafruit Industries as a Community Support and Publishing professional. Prior to that, they worked for ORENS DAILY ROAST, INC as an Assistant Store Manager starting in 2012. Before that, they worked for St. Teresa of Avila as an Administrative Assistant starting in 2010.

Takara Wheeler has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brooklyn College.
