Peter Newman is an experienced Software Engineering Manager at Adacel, with a career spanning over two decades in software development and project leadership. Since February 2001, Peter has held various roles, including Solutions Architect and Design Team Lead for Air Traffic Management systems, where responsibilities included managing software enhancements and ensuring that system and software requirements are met. Peter has also served as a Senior Software Developer, Team Lead, and Engineering Manager, overseeing teams of engineers and contributing to multiple R&D projects in air traffic control. Prior to joining Adacel, Peter gained valuable experience at Ericsson Research Canada, Raymark, and CAE Electronics Ltd., focusing on system design, implementation, and quality assurance. Peter holds a BSc in Computer Science from McGill University and a D.E.C in Pure and Applied Sciences from Vanier College.
