Francois Payette is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Air Traffic Management systems. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Contractor at Adacel since January 2015, Francois specializes in designing and implementing software for air traffic management. Prior to this role, Francois worked at Adacel from 2002 to May 2014 as a Software Engineer and UI team lead, contributing to key components of the BOAS and SATL ATM Oceanic systems, along with overseeing the Airspace Situational Display and Electronic Flight Strips for the ATOP system used by the FAA. Earlier experience includes a decade at Nortel Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on assembly line automation and system engineering. Education was completed at Polytechnique Montréal, graduating in 1989.
