Ariel Mowen Li is a seasoned Senior Materials Scientist at ADA Carbon Solutions, with tenure beginning in July 2012, and has notably held the roles of Lead Research Scientist and Materials Scientist. Li has led numerous research and development projects focusing on advanced activated carbon technologies for mercury capture in the coal-fired power industry, encompassing both gas and liquid phases. Responsibilities include supporting prototype development, manufacturing scale-up processes, and conducting field trials for innovative products. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Ames Laboratory from August 2006 to December 2008 and as a Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University from January 2007 to January 2008. Li holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Iowa State University (2006-2008) and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (2002-2006).
