Chris Degenaars has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Chris started their career at Giant Bicycles, where they served as the USA Marketing Specialist, responsible for product campaigns, digital marketing, brand ambassador programs, and collaborating on innovative strategies. Chris then moved on to found and serve as the President of Ad 2 SoCal, a nonprofit organization focused on advertising. Chris later founded and became the President of AAF Los Angeles, a chapter of the American Advertising Federation. Chris also worked as a Contributor for Influencive, an online publication for entrepreneurs. Additionally, they have held advisory roles in organizations such as the Institute for Advertising Ethics and Trips for Kids National. Chris has also been involved in community organizations like Generation Mental Health Association. Chris most recently joined Giant Bicycles global team as the Global Growth, CX & Social Engagement role, responsible for social media, creator and community programs across their 4 brands, as well as managing a Global Social Media Center of Excellence.

Chris Degenaars attended 42courses from 2020 to 2023 but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, Chris attended Plano West Senior High School, where they completed a basic course without obtaining a degree. In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained Applied Behavioral Science (Ogilvy Nano MBA) and Certified Ethical Advertising Executive from 42courses in 2023. They also completed the Ogilvy Social Media Master Class and The Mountain - Executive Sponsor Course in 2020, both from their institution, Talkwalker. In 2019, Chris became a member of AAF Dallas.
