Soumendra Rout is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Country CFO and Project CFO at ACWA Power since May 2016, Soumendra Rout has extensive expertise in financing, deal structuring, international tax planning, and financial reporting. Prior to this role, Soumendra Rout was Finance Director at Statkraft from June 2010 to May 2016, focusing on project financing and compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Financial Controller at AES India from January 2002 to June 2010, where responsibilities encompassed budget management, audit, and governance processes. Soumendra Rout holds an MBA in Finance from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, completed in 2007.
