Rubén Gómez currently serves as the Executive Manager of Special Projects at ACWA Power, focusing on enhancing desalination projects through the identification of emerging technologies and life-cycle cost assessments. Prior experience includes roles as Operations Manager at KEIKEN Engineering, where the focus was on water and wastewater treatment, and Business Development Manager at SACYR, managing sewage projects in Peru. Previous positions also include Proposals Manager at VA Tech Wabag, Resident Project Manager at ACCIONA, Project Engineer at Abengoa, and Field Service Engineer at GE Water & Process Technologies. Rubén holds three master's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo and Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
