Rachid ZINE is an experienced professional in digital transformation and IT operations, currently serving as the Regional Manager - Digital Adoption Lead for Africa at ACWA Power since February 2015. In this role, Rachid ZINE focuses on advancing the digital transformation agenda across several African countries while ensuring compliance with local regulations and overseeing the adoption and efficiency of digital initiatives. Previously, Rachid ZINE held the position of Head of IT Operations in Morocco, managing IT strategy compliance, cyber security implementation, and various IT system developments. Rachid ZINE's earlier roles include CTO and Software Architect at New Edge Technologies, where responsibilities included deploying Microsoft Unified Communication services and managing complex product launches. Rachid ZINE is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at Groupe ISCAE and holds multiple advanced degrees in international business and engineering.
