Chris Guirado-Marshall has a diverse work experience in the legal field. They started their career in 2001 at Hogan Lovells as a Senior Associate and worked there until 2008. During that time, they also had a role as a Legal Counsel, on secondment, at Alstom Group from April 2007 to January 2008. Following Hogan Lovells, they joined Fusion for Energy in 2008 as an In-House Counsel, focusing on engineering and construction contracts. They remained at Fusion for Energy until November 2015. In November 2015, they joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP as Counsel until June 2016. From June 2016 to May 2021, they worked as a Senior Legal Manager (Projects) at ACWA Power. They then transitioned into the role of Legal Director (Projects) - Africa at ACWA Power, starting in May 2021, where they are currently employed.
Chris Guirado-Marshall completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at The University of Edinburgh from 1996 to 2000. Chris then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the College of Europe from 2000 to 2001. Later, they enrolled at King's College London and earned an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from 2010 to 2012.
